The Map Room is a comfortable and intuitive space for writing, tracking and mixing that facilitates excellent communication between the producer or engineer and the musicians.
The 820 square foot combined control and tracking room has a blend of diffusion and absorption to make these rooms sound tight, even, and lively. The acoustic treatment can be reversed or moved to alter the reverb time and create the right acoustic environment for the project. The control/mix area has huge bass traps against the back wall to ensure accurate monitoring of all frequencies. There is a 70 square foot iso room designed to be an acoustically dead environment with significant trapping on the walls and ceiling. There are tie lines for headphone, mic, line, and speaker signals to the iso room and the lounge. The cozy 115 square foot lounge has a sink, mini fridge, toaster oven, and coffee and tea.
